About you

I am the Founder and Managing Director/Partner in both Singapore and in Bangkok, Thailand. Goinng by the name The Centre For IT Service Management (CISM™). We provide Training|Education, Assessment and Consulting Services to clients - this is based on ITIL for the most part, but also draws on other related industry standards or best practices, e.g., COBIT, eSCM-SP, ISO 2000, ISO 15504, EIA/TIA 942, etc. At the moment, I have the ITIL® (EXIN Certified) Service Manager Certification and is a Certified ISO/IEC 20000 Lead Auditor and Lead Consultant. I will be updating to ITIL Expert inJune 2009. I am a business graduate of Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. I have also taken business courses and programs at the Schulich School of Business (York University, Toronto, Canada) and I also have a Certificate in Training and Development from Ryerson University, in Toronto Canada.
My experience bridges across a wide range of IT skill sets over some 26+ years in the field. I have the gift of a great logical mind and superb persistent concentration but I have never been a programmer for any duration outside of the classroom while back in school - I actually hated it back in the day (COBOl, RPG, Assembler, Pascal, Turing). First discovered ITIL back in 1999, while still V1.0 - I joined Pink Elephant and worked for them for nearly 4 years. Since then, I have establish my own comapany and have been offering services in the Asia Pacific Region (SEA). Our services range across all the traditional ITIL stuff and we extend it into the Data Centre space where I have some experise as well. Collaboratively with friends, colleagues and good provider support, we help organizations implement best practice guidance with a view to realism and common sense. I studied theology for 3+ years and understand the blatant ITIL "zealot like mindset" and know first hand how narrowing it can be. I hope to help people think about ITIL and other related standards in real tangilbe terms and implement achievable practice discipline. Drop me a line anytime - I am on LinkedIn. I welcome collaboration and partnership.
